Consolidated Carpet was able to provide carpet to a local non-profit in need. After a flood damaged much of the office carpet at their 81st Street Residence, the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter needed assistance. NCS' goal is to end homelessness for men, women and youth who have aged out of foster care in New York. Having forged a relationship last year with the NCS through our friends at IFMA Cares New York City, Consolidated was happy to help again. With our donation of over 1,035 square feet of carpet tile, NCS was able to renovate the damaged space in two hallways, eight offices, a health room and a conference room.
Consolidated Carpet is a proud supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, including their Light The Night Walk. Consolidated participated in the 2012 Light The Night Walk as a Route Marker Sponsor in Manhattan. We are honored to help further LLS' mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
2012 served as the third consecutive year that Consolidated Carpet proudly participated in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. This annual Holiday toy collection and distribution program serves to brighten the holiday season for local children in need by providing them with new toys. For the third time, Consolidated was proud to participate as a donation drop-off center in both of their offices – located in Manhattan and Carlstadt, New Jersey.
Consolidated Carpet is honored to support The Joy Fund, a charitable organization established in loving memory of Nicole Joy Frame & her unborn son Robert Louis. The Joy Fund aims to raise awareness & funds for the charities that Nicole was passionate about, including Cystic Fibrosis, which she was born with. The organization is very close to the Consolidated Carpet family & we encourage you to visit The Joy Fund website at www.thejoyfund.net.
Consolidated Carpet recently helped sponsor and participate in The Joy Fund's Memorial Golf Classic to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With 120 golfers participating, the Golf Classic – at the West Point Golf Course in West Point, New York – was a celebration of Nicole's life and successfully raised over $20,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
