Executive Team
 
Raymond Kappel serves as Director of Operations at Consolidated Carpet. He has over 25 years of experience in business management and application development from specification and design to installation, maintenance, and support in the carpet industry. In his current role, Ray is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the organization, particularly the systems and procedures required to accomplish the company's mission in the marketplace.
Ray is a returning member of the Consolidated Carpet team, having served first as a project manager and then operations manager from 1990 to 1997. In the meantime, Ray served as the Director of IT for Stark Carpet Corporation where he was responsible for the company’s IT staff and infrastructure which supported 450 users.
Ray earned a Masters of Business Administration in Management from Long Island University, graduating first in his class. Ray also received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
